The Nurse Unit Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective leadership and management of the Operating Theatre department. The NUM will be responsible for patient outcomes, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, business management and leadership.

The Operating Theatres provide surgical services in general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, ENT, dental, plastics, and endoscopy.
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse is essential.
A minimum of 5 years nursing experience within Theatre including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role is essential.
Candidates must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience and understand of the private sector is highly desirable.
